I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My research focuses on the evolution of body form in humans and our close relatives. In particular, I am interested in the ways in which selective pressures such as difficult obstetrics and novel environments have influenced the shape of the torso.
